The Power of STEAM...

STEMPorte was birthed when the founder started a Montessori Nursery and elementary school in 2017. This school was established two years before the COVID19 pandemic hit. Thankfully, the entire team had gotten introduced into the world of STEAM and knowledge of ed tech tools like edpuzzle and Google classroom.

When the pandemic hit, it was a smooth transition for us from the traditional classroom to the online classroom. However the team needed to do more - this fueled us to begin to explore more STEAM skills and prompted me to take a globally recognised STEM Certification in 2021.
We began to fully immerse our children in STEAM activities from 2020 and when compared with other children, we noticed asignificant difference in the application of 21st century skills like Creativity, Innovation, Communication, Collaboration, Self regulation, etc.
This birthed the idea of STEMPorte as the founder was passionate about seeing the transformation across other schools locally and globally. Currently we have trained teachers and applied our lessons/trainings across several countries. We are excited about the endless possibilities we can achieve with a STEM-ified community!
